Where are you joining us from?

Your answer changes the rest of this page. From Colombia, we keep it to the celebration. From anywhere else, we add the whole journey — flights, papers, where to sleep, what to see.

A night for you

January 9 is a date — with your partner, or with yourself. Celebrate carefree: it is going to be wild, and that is why it is adults only. Children are welcome on the trip; we will help you find a sitter for the night.

Dress Code

Formal Chic

An elegant celebration between a church and a hacienda — the occasion to dress up and look wonderful.

The colours of our guests

Deep, muted tones for the Bogotá savanna. These are a suggestion, never a rule — what matters most is that you feel comfortable and beautiful. Two palettes: find yours beside the photograph, then pick the colour that suits you.

Try it on

Tap a colour. See it on. Put a pair together and see the two of you walking in.

For her — Copper

Copper

For her

A long or midi dress, and a wide or block heel — there is grass and stone between the church and the dance floor.

Any of these eight — the warm oranges included.

Not emerald green — and not white, ivory or pearl.

For him — Forest green

Forest green

For him

A suit and tie, or a tuxedo, in a deep tone.

Any of these eight — and a classic black suit works too.

Only one to avoid: clay orange.

TogetherCopper & Forest green

The fabric will not be exactly this one — it is the tone that matters. Print the screen, or show it to your tailor.

Reserved colours

Three shades belong to the wedding party. Every other colour is yours.

  • Clay orange#C1622B

The groomsmen, in clay-orange suits — and JP, in his accents. For her, copper and terracotta stay open.

  • Emerald green#0E5A43

The bridesmaids, in emerald dresses. Forest and olive stay open to everyone.

  • White · Ivory · Pearl

The bride — Angie, with a touch of emerald.

Around the wedding

A few days together.

Only the wedding is a must. The rest is optional — moments designed for those travelling from abroad.

For international guests

Arrive early

We recommend landing a few days ahead — to rest, adjust to Bogotá's altitude and climate, and enjoy a little of Colombia.

The day before

Friday, January 8

Meet before the wedding

We would love to see everyone before the wedding. An evening for our friends and families to meet each other, to taste a little of Bogotá, and to warm up together for the big day.

The day after

Sunday, January 10

A slow day

Sleep in, breathe, and let the stories from the night before come out over a long lunch. We will say where closer to the date.

Monday

January 11

A last day, with the locals

Still in Bogotá? Let the Colombians in the family show you their city — or a corner of the countryside around it — the way only locals can. One more day to say goodbye slowly.

Details and times will be confirmed closer to the date.

Angie & JP

Us

What began with a key to an apartment became the key to a heart.

A Colombian woman in Miami. A Québécois looking for a place to land. She expected a tenant; he expected a city. With the blessing of both families, JP proposed in the country where it all took root — and Angie said yes.
